HUMIDIFIER
(FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANT)
HI AIR KOREA(HAK) HUMIDIFIER is designed to supply steam in duct system in order to maintain comfortable level of humidity in control rooms for Nuclear Power Plants.
HAK HUMIDIFIER is specifically constructed to operate in Nuclear Power Plant considering size, efficiency, reliability and maintainability.
The humidifier is electric steam heater type and shall be UL-listed.

- FEATURES
CHAMBER
- The chamber is made of ASTM A240 type 304 plate with welded joints
- The chamber is insulated with 20 mm thick rigid foam and reinforced aluminum foil cladding
- A maintenance cover is provided on top of the chamber for heating element removal and cleaning of the chamber inside
LEVEL GAUGE
- Sight glass type level gauge is provided
BASE FRAME
- The base frame is made of carbon steel
- Rigid enough to support all components during shipping, lifting and operation
- Two drain pipes are installed for water overflow and complete drainage of the water for maintenance
SAFETY DEVICES
- Electric float type level switch is provided to cut-off the power to heating element at low water level
- High temperature sensor(setting point at 150 ℃) is provided inside the chamber to prevent overheating
HEATING ELEMENT
- Heating elements have nickel and chromium resistance wire centered in a metal sheath and insulated from the sheath by magnesium-oxide refractory
- Heating elements are rated for operating at 480Vac, 60Hz, 3-phase
HEATER J/B
- Heater J/B is connection point for the power of heating element and level switch
CONTROL PANEL
- Casing material : Carbon Steel KS D3512 SPCC
- Power source : 480Vac, 60Hz, 3-phase
- Control source : 120Vac, 60Hz, 1-phase
- Ingress Protection : NEMA type 12(Dust-tight type)
- Control panel is supplied loose
